I have been a writer and editor for more than 20 years, working across a range of industries including economics, finance, real estate, and, currently, aged care.
I specialise in making complex subjects easy to understand. Over the years I have written news, financial market summaries, CEO profiles, and light-hearted yarns.
I'm currently a journalist with the B2B site The Weekly source covering the aged care for busy aged care executives. I have built up an extensive network of contacts and have a deep understanding of the sector, dating back to before the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.
I spent four years at Macquarie Bank as managing editor, editing global equities research, including the work of non-native English speakers, and managing a small team. I oversaw a handful of projects, including rebranding the research business and rolling out publishing templates to offices around the world.
I spent several years at CommSec as a writer and editor, and presenting market news for radio and TV.
