Work history 

Journalist, HelloCare – 2018–present

  • I write articles for HelloCare covering all aspects of aged care, from regulation and dementia research through to personal stories about residents and staff.

  • For each article, I am responsible for concept development, research, writing, image selection, online publishing and social media posts.

  • I’ve established a wide network of contacts within the industry.

  • I am required to work independently; I work remotely and have daily deadlines.

  • I liaise with clients for paid stories, including concept development, writing, approvals and publishing.

Journalist, The Real Estate Conversation – 2015–2018

  • Wrote and published online content for a real estate website. 

  • Commissioned articles from industry experts. 


  • Curated daily ‘news roundup’ of topical articles.
